We've been knitting away for the March for Science on April 22nd, some of us for two months. Encouraging knitting in green and blue to represent the Earth and our need to take care of it and push back lies of Global Warming denial. Our hats can also be used for the Peoples Climate March a week later on April 29th. Here are some of the best patterns and lots of very new ones.
We have about three weeks to go for the March for Science and Peoples Climate March. You can wear your green and blue hats or headbands to both. There is just enough time to get a few more hats done to donate or do something up fancy for yourself or your friend. Have fun. To donate to the Washington D.C. March go to Project Thinking Cap. For an exhaustive list of patterns, one blog post on lighter summer choices, another on scientific symbols or powerful words, and plenty of inspiration, look below at the bottom for a list of previous blog posts.
A good choice for the above hat and other hats you might want lighter is to use Knitpicks Cotton and Modal (Birchwood fiber) Shine Worsted Yarn.
This hat is for those who have creative thoughts and stashes begging to be used!
