Wednesday's Yarn Along

 Today I'm sharing with Ginny at her "Small Things" blog;
come join me and share what you are reading and knitting in "Yarn Along".

I've just started knitting "Don't Mind the Gap" for a gift.  I'm knitting it up in Swish DK Yarn in Cobblestone Grey.  A very soft Superwash Merino Wool.

Don't Mind the Gap - Free Pattern

     I'm reading a short novella Run Girl (Ingrid Skyberg FBI Thrillers Book 1) Kindle Edition.  It's free ( BookBub strikes again!).  I love it, fast paced, fun and smart, good characters.

    It's about a Secretary of State called to England to negotiate foreign Peace Talks between African nations.  At the last moment her granddaughter begs to go along, she's 18 and within hours of landing disappears.  Ingrid Skyberg, a FBI agent whose expertise is crime against children, is asked by the British government to intercede to find her before the Secretary of State is out of negotiations.  In the name of keeping International peace the FBI agent reluctantly agrees, even though this is clearly out of her jurisdiction.

     I love the verbal byplay between her and a British private security guy who is helping her.  Who knows what will happen.  But, this does seem like a good taste of a series that continues.  Goodreads - Run Girl (Ingrid Skyberg FBI Thriller 0.5)

Please join us at Ginny's "Small Things" blog to share-

"~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading and I love sharing my projects and current reads here.  I would love for you to join me every Wednesday to share a single photo of what you are knitting (or crocheting) and reading too! "  Share with Ginny at Small Things.
