Joining "Frontier Dreams" today and sharing my creations
I feel like I've gotten far in knitting the Don't Mind the Gap Hat. It's an easy knit and rhythmic, I quickly picked up the pattern and it's going up so nicely. It's a soft yarn: Swish DK Yarn in Cobblestone Heather.
My Peace Cowl gets less work done on it, but a little every day and I might be finished at the end of the month. It's soft and nice and the pattern is so rhythmic and peaceful, it's hard to keep my hands off of it, but I want to get the hats done! Knit in KnitPicks Preciosa Tonal Fingering Yarn in Bonsai.
Join "Frontier Dreams" to post your projects on Tuesday or later in the week.
Nicole says: "The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link" on her blog, link above.
They're both such lovely colours, I can imagine they're very soothing to knit with :)
ReplyDeleteI also use acrylic yarn for years, or cheaper wool and now my hands are just in heaven enjoying some real nice yarn.
DeleteI finished my Peace Cowl over the weekend. I'm thinking of casting on another.
ReplyDeleteWow, great! I'll have to mosey over to your world to see pictures! Definitely a knit to do again.
