Joining "Frontier Dreams" today and sharing my creations
I'm rotating three projects right now, two hats and a cowl. Variety is the spice of life! I finally got some length on the Bankhead Hat that I've worked on for awhile. It looks nice, but I wish I used a better yarn. This is a wool & acrylic blend and when I'm done I'm going to soak it in hair conditioner and block it, in hopes it will soften it.
The other hat is made from soft Superwash Merino Wool yarn at KnitPicks, Swish DK Yarn in Cobblestone Heather. I'm knitting it up on #9 circular needles, also from Knitpicks, their Majestic line. It's such a delight to work in and the pattern is great! It's called Don't Mind the Gap and I just love watching the different patterns emerge. I think it'll be a standard pattern to do in the future. This one's a gift and now I want one!
My last knit is the cowl I've been doing for December, my Peace Cowl, which was apart of a large KAL, but it was 21 days long and, well to keep my peace of mind, it's being knit up at my rate, slow. But it's turning out beautiful and soft.

Nicole says: "The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link" on her blog, link above.
lovely hats and a cowl! I love cowls and how versatile they are to wear. I'm working on two shawls right now.
