Joining "Frontier Dreams" today and sharing my creations.
While I'm working on my The Really Improv Sweater! to make the cast-on and neck right I have a few other things on needles that have actually more priority. The sweater I can take my time with, Monday Moments - A Step Backwards to go Forwards.
I'm trying to work on my Just Knit It with Gifted Stash for a KAL that ends with September.
Each one pulls me at differing times, except the hat. I'm having a hard time with the metal needles and the stitches slipping off, so I just can't wait till I get beyond the 5 inch point where I can decrease. Next time I'm either using wooden double pointed needles that grab or a circular needle, but I was determined to use what I had.

Nicole says: "The act of creating, in one form or another, preserves my sanity amongst the chaos of life. This explains why I always have more than one project going at a time as well as why my housework tends to fall behind. I enjoy seeing what others are working on and keeping calm with, too. What are you creating? What is keeping you going? Snap a picture or two and share it with the rest of us by leaving your link" on her blog, link above.
Your projects are all so pretty! I especially love the blue of the hat. I love circulars for hats - I find the rhythm of knitting is much smoother with them.
ReplyDeleteThanks and yes, I'd rather have the circulars. I actually have just picked up knitting after only doing it here and there since college, so my needle supply is something I'm working on. One day I dream....I love the Circular needles from Knit Picks (so affordable and amazing) and I'm trying to get more of those.
