There is nothing quite like a good waltz and as Miss Phryne Fisher says “My mother lost all reason when she was waltzed.” Come join us for a leisurely MKAL…we will be knitting a crescent shaped shawl in preparation of the New Year. An elegant shawl, easy to make as large as you like and fringed, if that is what you desire. Knit in Nov. and Dec and we can waltz in the New Year! Kits are available from the Yarn Fairy (see pattern page for link)

Inspired by the beautiful hand dyed yarns of Seawall Fibres, this shawl seeks to create in yarn the imagery described on the Seawall Fibres labels – the wave battered rocky shores, the dramatic tides and the constantly changing colors of the watery landscape. Alternating areas of garter and mesh join into an organic, undulating vision.
