Wednesday's Yarn Along finds me back from Maine and visiting my son's College, The College of Atlantic in Maine (it's an Ecology focused, small and amazing college). It was voted tops in Environmental Studies and sustainability by The Princeton Review and The Sierra Club this year. My son is studying Sustainable energy and building and works all year round with the campus carpenters. Here's a few shots of the college and my knitting projects, one done, one in progress.
My knitting nook in my son's residence where he's the RA. I finished my Just Knit It with Gifted Stash kerchief, but it still needs blocking, so photos later of the finished project.
Turrets where I knit & read for a day while my son was in class and then the Parent's Reception was out here (surprise, I had no clue everyone would be joining me!)
My Malabrigo Yarn for my new project- Malabrigo Arroyo Yarn - Marte.
My new knitting project is Elise's Age of Brass and Steam .
And I'm currently reading an awesome book in a series that is great! Check out my book review on Tuesday - What's Up in My Knitting World for Concrete Evidence (Evidence Series Book 1), which is free now on Kindle through Amazon. Written by a former archeologist, her Evidence Series is great. She uses her background for creative adventures with romance and believable characters. You're hooked from the start!

"~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading and I love sharing my projects and current reads here. I would love for you to join me every Wednesday to share a single photo of what you are knitting (or crocheting) and reading too! " Share with Ginny at Small Things.
Your Malabrigo is beautiful! I've got to check out the book--it sounds intriguing.
